Follow-up Comment #39, bug #55287 (project octave): WRT comment 37. I think you need to wait longer until the problem re-appear. I wonder if this is some kind of lazy memory allocation effect (clf frees some buffers which octave do not release back to OS but re-use for subsequent allocations). E.g. with memory.m test (see comment 30) if I wait longer than 44 cycles, the 0 disappear and it returns to original pattern.
