BTW I do not fully grasp the "description" stuff? The tab "Editor Styles" in the settings dialog contains the configurable styles for all used qscintilla lexers. Each style has a description that is (like all of its settings) directly read from the lexer. This means the related text strings are not contained in the octave sources but in the sources of qscintilla which has to be scanned, too. Should I update nl_NL.ts with those descriptions right now?I still do not get it, but just send it, only then it might trickle down .... (I had a long working day at the office). Note I don't promise I can finish tonight (I'm half way tru nl_NL.ts, but half way is usually only the start. Wasn't it called pareto?)Philip, no one expects that you finish tonight.<snip> OK Torsten, here's a first draft (sorry ;-) ). I think (I'm sure) I need to view the results in a compiled Octave to really check if the translations make sense."make" should also generate the necessary binary file and the translations should show in your program (if you chose nl_NL in the settings ;-)).
Ah, a nice job for this week.
Are you going to push the updated ts-file into the repo?
Not yet.First see, check, correct, and perhaps a few more iterations. If I'm content I'll push - but I always hope someone else will check too.
But not tonight :-) P.
