It would be good if you can create a bug for the missing function and post your implementation in the bug report, as for example done for https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?43118

Also, your function implementation should include test cases so that you/we can verify that it works. See https://www.gnu.org/software/octave/doc/interpreter/Test-Functions.html and look at other function files in Octave for examples.
