Ive noticed this on my dialup as well.  I've also noticed that the 'keep 
alive' message that used to flash up on the status bar periodically doesn't 
come up any more(0.13.93).  Has this code been removed?  It makes sense that 
if there are still tasks in an active task list, the connection to the server 
should be maintained.
