Just wanted to toss in my last minute 2 cents on 0.114 and the patch
before I move on to 0.115. I use Giganews and decided to let 0.114 pull
in all 90 days worth of headers for alt.binaries.dvd just to see what
happened. I hadn't loaded this group in the rewrite yet, so it got *ALL*
headers that Giganews had.

Currently, top shows:
 23083 46.8 1490m 546m 944m 1968 1.4g 6832 12k 0 S 15 0 0.0 pan

Don't want it to sound like I'm griping - on the contrary. As we all
know, old Pan would have gone into a disk thrashing swap-fest long
before it ever finished sorting the headers.

As an FYI about the number of articles and parts that we are talking
about here, the Event Log reports "Saved 31069539 parts, 257979 articles
in "alt.binaries.dvd" in 167.3 seconds (1542 art/sec)" 31 million parts
that I was able to pull in all at one time, rather than having to do it
in small chunks. Nice!

Based on what I'm seeing for groups with every day usage, having Pan
occasionally get a bit bloaty for those rare times when I need to load
(or reload) everything is something I can live with.

Kudos and thanks for making this happen!
