This is great thing towards u in clearing the doubts
on partysip and osip related, i have gone through the mailing list and
have seen ur replies, its good and great,
I am a new bie to the group as well
as to the sip platform also, i have one doubt, mailing in expecting the
proper reply, ( ofcourse from anyone who is interested to response )
I am sarting to use osip and party
sip and planning to first understand
the code and develop some stuff.
I have got the tar files and compiled
them.
But I dont know how to run the application
or where to start with
But what i did is:
I installed osip, and untared the
partysip
created one folder called linux_partysip
and run these commands
../partysip-2.2.3/configure
make
make install
then i went to linux_partysip/src/
and run the partysip file (
./partysip ) ( again i have one doubt here, i.e. this partysip
is not an executable file)
It is saying give the serverip address
and servername
But even after giving the
ip and name in the partysip.conf file,
it still giving the same message.
whether the thing i did is correct
for running the partysip server?
if so what is the problem i am getting?
Can u please help me in this
regard?
The versions of partysip and libosip
are partysip-2.2.3 and libosip2-2.2.2
respectively.
