Sam:

Yes, I read everything that I could get my hands on.

However, I noted that either the documentation, while good, is either dated,
or long on technical details but does not go far enough in helping the
developer to put together "The Big Picture" of how everything fits together
in the universe of phpGroupWare. Also, in reviewing the code for various
applications I noted that there are several ways of doing the same thing.

It just seems to me that the thrust of phpGroupWare's future is how best to
put together the multi-tier design architecture, intra-object messaging,
menuaction invocation, and Web Services interfaces.

Since phpGroupWare's galaxy of applications will revolve around this
nucleus, a document that puts all this together for that Big Picture, as
well as a model application to get a hands-on feel, would seem to me the
best way for developers to jump on-board. This would also help the
core-developers in their own cause via standardization - to say nothing of
lowering the learning curve.

IMHO
