Ya what a hassle, But I do remember reading a solution but I can't find it.
Does anybody have the answer.  I have re-read and re-read the archives but
can't find it.  I have also traced the code but I am not familiar enough to
catch subtle problems (which I expect that this is).  I really need to
resolve this problem, my users are complaining.  HELP!!!!

I re-read your original message.  Oops.  What I suggested fixes where the
calendar
defaults to 1969.  My calendar does the same thing but I've just been
ignoring it,
hoping it will go away.
