If we can now go thru this and be able to emulate an Exchange server, we
can possibly allow for both Evo and Outlook clients. Im going to start
pouring into this code.
Hi,
I'm a developer on the moregroupware project; I watch this project too
with much interest.
Where possible, I believe groups working together is a great thing.
We're definitely intereted in an exchange style server for our project, too.
There's obviously various ways one could implement the above source code.
A great thing to do would be to engineer a generic server that is a
standalone, application-independent daemon that acts as the exchange
replacement, which either directly manipulates a SQL database (and one
can define how exactly this is done), or uses something like XML/SOAP to
act as a 'middleware' between this and various groupware projects.
Does this make any sense?
Cheers,
