It took me a few times of hearing about dyndns.org for it to hit me that it 
was not a program but a website. I have since checked it out and understand 
what you have been talking about.

However, I placed an entry  in /etc/hosts to associate mydomain.name with the 
internal lan ip address. Unfortunatey it did not recognize it in long form 
(it did in short form though)

I still think the bug in phpws should be fixed though.
