Many, many thanks for the lucid answer. I *told* the guy that set this
up to roll his own Courier-IMAP install. But did he listen? Nooooo. When
I setup phpgw, I use Postfix+Courier+Maildir, so I guess that's why I
haven't run into this problem yet.
