What error messages?

I open the setup page and write the config.  Then it sends me back to the
login...  then I login and click the continue button and I get the setup page
and click the continue button and it takes me back to the login..... i.e. I
can't get past the setup page.

I already notice this with Fedora and links navigator, but was not able to find the origin of this problem. The only thing I found was that I need to clear the cache all the time ... So the issue is perhaps in miss handling the pragma no cache or something like that in the apache server or php or the navigator ...
