for .16, you'll nee to disable "notice" level errors, if the server is
apache you should be able to do this via an .htaccess file.  the docs
should cover this as well as some other prequisites for smooth
running.  Our developement branch already has some of these issues
updated, so the .18 release should be a bit smoother.
