didn't respond... got your key from savannah, signed and uploaded it to 
www.keyserver.net

i rewrote most of praf... but i have to finish a few details and do some tests 
before i'll commit it.
it has an -e option now (extract), and in the future it will even support 
multisplit... ah yeah... i even began a manpage for praf !
hopefully i'll be able to commit it soon.
