Hi and sorry for the delay. It's totally possible to interact with Ring via bash or Python. Ring has a deamon with a dbus interface on linux. You just need to call dbus commands to do that. For example, long time ago I did a little script to interact between Ring and IRC. https://gist.github.com/AmarOk1412/df88402e9a1e5710898cd2df2be117d8 A wrapper already exists for Python and is in ring-daemon/tools/dringctrl.py Some commands are missing, but you've got enough to do what you want :) If you need some help, feel free to answer.
