A few screenshots taken in 800x600 mode. fluxbox comes with several 
'themes' by default. I took screenshots of 5 at random.

It's not KDE or Gnome, but it's fairly functional. It has the added bonus 
that the window manager is up and running in under 10 seconds.
Both KDE and Gnome (Using the stock X server) took several minutes to 
load.

fluxbox can also display kde (and gnome, I believe) applets as well. I 
tried klaptopdaemon, and it worked. However, it also used 25% of the 
available memory. 12M for a battery icon seemed a little much. ;)
