A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

C. Garrett Goebel <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: other
Other License: Explanation: Would like to license under as close as possible to
the terms under which Perl is distributed. The exception being the Clarified
Artistic License instead of the Artistic License to avoid conflict with the GPL

Dual License: (AL-Clarified/GPL)
GNU General Public License (GPL)
The Clarified Artistic License (AL-Clarified)

The following is the recommended AL-Clarified/GPL license
notice for new Otto source code files; this would be
formatted as a comment in whatever language is used in a
particular source file:

Alternatively, the contents of this file may be used

2 or later (the \\\"GPL\\\"), in which case the provisions of
the GPL are applicable instead of those above. If you wish
to allow use of your version of this file only under the

indicate your decision by deleting the provisions above
and replace them with the notice and other provisions
required by the GPL. If you do not delete the provisions
above, a recipient may use your version of this file under
the terms of either the AL-Clarified or the GPL.

----- END LICENSE BLOCK -----

Package: Otto
System name: otto
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

The purpose of this project is to develop, document, and integrate Win32
administration and automation tools into a flexible collection. Initially, this
will amount to nothing more than collecting the homegrown scripts many of us
use daily and have been sharing and refining together on such mailing lists as
nt-admin (http://www.topica.com/lists/perl-ntadmins ) and perl-win32-admin
(http://aspn.activestate.com/ASPN/Mail/). No magic silver bullet, but hopefully
an iterative process toward something better.

The choice language of implementation is Perl, but may be overruled where
appropriate by the prime directive: \"whatever works\". As such, tools and
libraries will be built on top of existing libraries available in the CORE Perl
distribution or from CPAN such as Win32::OLE.

Initial deliverables will target auditing reports and remote administration for
common tasks involving:

o machine hardware and configuration
o workstation and domain: user, group, and machine security
