The script says:

But it looks to me that they just wrote the part that send in the e-mail
messages with a URL pointing to viewcvs. I think someone else included a copy
of diffmon within log_accum and added a few more line options. There are a few
comments that simply say:
    # --gord

So my guess is that "gord" did it. I seen his name around in subversions, but
I don't really know who gord is or if he's still around.
