Hi Rudy,

Since we -Loic, Jaime and me- thinks you are ready to handle
moderation on the GNU Savannah server, we propose you to begin
directly this week.

Moderation approval and bug dispatching is now assigned to you:
http://savannah.gnu.org/pm/task.php?group_project_id=30&group_id=11&func=browse

  * bug dispatching: assign bug to sv-hackers when you think they are
able to handle it: generally I handle PHP/content stuff, Jaime
CVS/PHP/Content, Laurent the Bug Tracker and Loic everything that
others one cannot handle (but he have less time)

At the end of the week, on sunday evening (or monday morning), once
the pending project queue is empty, you'll just have to reassign thoses
task to the one that will do the following week - me.

Since normally it's was my week, I will be there. Do not hesitate to
drop me a mail anytime you are not sure about what to do.

I do not know if you are familiar with the web administration interface.

Abstract:
In "Savannah administration", you have a link to pending
projects. Here http://savannah.gnu.org/admin/approve-pending.php
you'll get a this list.

For each project, you have two options: delete it, manage
project registration.

If a project is okey: go in manage project registration, change status
to Active, make sure the right group type is selected, click on
"Update", and finally click on "Send New Project Instruction Email".

If a project is not ok: you can click on "delete it" on the pending
project list or set Status to deleted and click on "Update" on the
manage project registration page.

But it's not finished: after all, you must login like ssh
 address@hidden and type
        sv_register_discard
For each project marked as deleted via the www interface, it will ask
to give a comment.

Another way to moderate is to do everything using savannah.el. I
propose you to begin with the www interface, to fully understand
it. It will be easier to understand the savannah.el shortcuts.

Regards,
