I was not trying to get the whole repository; the
misbehaviour happens with *every* CVS command; for example
'cvs add', 'cvs commit' or even 'cvs diff'. The same problem
has been reported also by another user (support request
#102208).
This is for my project 'epsilon', which is GNU software.
CVS works with my other project, instead 'Baroque', which
is not GNU.

Copy/paste of commands ('cvs diff' is all in one line):
------------------------------------------------------------
address@hidden ~]$ cd progetti/epsilon/epsilon-working/epsilon
address@hidden ~/progetti/epsilon/epsilon-working/epsilon]$ cvs
diff
Warning: Remote host denied X11 forwarding.
Cannot access /cvsroot/CVSROOT
No such file or directory
address@hidden ~/progetti/epsilon/epsilon-working/epsilon]$

If you were trying to get the whole repository, we no longer permit that.
You can do it with rsync that consume less resources on the server.
