Follow-up Comment #1:

Hi,

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

Apologizes for the delay. We went understaffed and got some backlog :/

I see that you call your user group a LUG. We would like to people to use
GNU/Linux instead of 'Linux' when refering to the operating system. While we
do not have any requirement on your website, we would like you to use the
correct term when using Savannah, and suggest that you avoid acronyms that
contain "lug" (unless part of "glug") (check
http://www.gnu.org/gnu/gnu-user-groups.html for further information).

Could you precise me how this database will work? Will it be only a LaTeX
file? In what will it be different than
http://www.chennailug.org/wiki/CDs_for_Grab? How will Savannah help you in
this task?

Last, if you already have some file ready, please include a (perhaps
temporary) URL pointing to the source code. The description you gave when
registering will not be read by the general public. If you are still
concerned with privacy, however, you can forward the code to me by email.

We wish to review your source code, even if it is not functional, to catch
potential legal issues early.

For example, to release your program properly under the GPL you must include
a copyright notice and permission-to-copy statements at the beginning of
every file of source code. This is explained in
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html. Our review would help catch
potential omissions such as these.

Regards.
