But I'm guessing that many pages in one document
would be a big change and maybe it would be better
to do sooner rather than later because it might
impact a lot of stuff?  I would do it but, I don't
think I really have the skills to do a good job.
The hack that I'd do would probably break a lot of
other things.

By the way, I think psmerge can be used to join 
several PS files into a single document.  The
reason I'm asking about multiple pages is really
a question of ease of use rather than just getting
everything into one document.
