Hi group,

Has anyone had any experience with Flame http://www.flame.ac.uk/ ? I'm a bit familiar with the Epitheliome project, which seems to be its precursor. It looks very interesting, and seems like it might be similar to MetaABM. Its also interesting that it looks like it can run on parallel machines. Any comments would be appreciated.

IMO it looks possibly interesting but rather early days. A version number like 0.12 rather gives that away. The examples are only described on Windows and although I could download the parser for the model XMML files, there were no instructions about how to build it.

Swarm is mature code with extensive documentation including whole books on writing simulations, and binaries available for a number of platforms.
