I have always found that you have to press Enter rather than tab to the next field. And you have to press enter before clicking in start.

Can someone tell me how to get the probe display in jheatbugs to work?

When I run jheatbugs-2.1 and alter any of the displayed values, my changes are ignored. For example, if I change numBugs from 100 to 25, then click Start or Next, the program will write 100 back into the probe display and will still create 100 bugs.

 

The only thing on the probe display that seems to work is clicking on toggleRandomizedOrder.
