about this old globalTkInterp code in ASM

I found code like this in ASM:
#if 0
- printPriceGraph
{
  [globalTkInterp eval:
    "%s postscript output priceDump.eps -maxpect yes -decorations no",
    [priceGraph getWidgetName]];
  return self;
}
#endif

This makes me think that, at one time anyway, a person could have a
graph save a picture of itself.

Yes?

I recall that globalTkInterp is deprecated. Is there an alternative for
eps output?
