Problem with inst.

Hi all,
I am trying to install Swarm 2.2 in Windows ME.
I am following the steps prepared by Paul Johnson for installation.
I installed Cygwin but when I try to run it, a window opens up and then
closes on its own so  I can noy mount the Swarm stuff inside Cygwin.

The installation steps are for Win 95. Is this problem due to the
differences between the Win 95 and Win ME?
What should I do??
