So they've decided to convert pages in the document to jpg images as can be seen here:

I wonder why they chose jpg.

Google has demonstrated the beauty of text pattern recognition in png images.

I realize the fonts have been rendered separately.

Better font support in HTML5 is the only somewhat valid technical reason for favoring HTML5.

Just wanted to clarify that I'm not anti-HTML5, I'm evaluating it right now.  I'm just a little shocked at the way they're bringing change about I guess.
