As of October 29th http://www.gnu.org/prep/tasks.html contains a short
document that points to the Savannah tasklist. The delay in doing
this was evidently caused by a bug in the tasks.texi due to my
texinfo-naivete but the bug has been fixed by "root".
Good. So nobody is getting confused.
We should probably leave that document in place (since it's likely
that many other sites point to it) but modify our own links to point
to the new task list.
Yes.
Jose watches tasks@, and moves worthy ideas to Savannah. he's been
doing a good job of entering task items as jobs and status changes
(i.e. "task X has been filled") as news items.
Toby watches gvc@ and points volunteers to projects, gives them more
info, etc.
Jose, if you can put as much info as possible into the job postings
themselves then we should be in good shape.
It would be ok to have a file of extra info about a task, when you
think that is useful. Just put the file in Savannah somewhere (you
could start a project to hold these files), and make the task list
item point to the corresponding file. You can edit the file by hand.
There are not so many tasks, so this won't take much time.
