Details:

It would be great if Weechat itself could be a remote client for the weechat
protocol.  I use Weechat on a VPS that is the other side of the world for me
and such get sub-optimal latency and what better interface would fit the bill
better than Weechat itself running locally?  

It could also open up some other not as pressing possibilities like running
multiple Weechat clients for the purpose of having different buffer split
layouts for each.
