Hi Graham, Graham Davies schrieb:
What HOST SOFTWARE are you using to drive the programmer? Previously, you wrote "Both programmers (stk500 and avrdude) gives an error ...". Where does the STK500 come into this? Is avrdude your host software?the tools stk500 (STK500 command line programmer, v 2.2 Atmel Corp (C) 2004-2005.) and avrdude I took from Nut/OS installation (Ethernut 4.2.1) (see http://www.ethernut.de/en/download/index.html). With both tools I have tried to program the Ethernut board over SP Duo.
The Ethernut 1.3 needs a special cable for JTAG programming, see http://www.ethernut.de/en/jtag/jtagconn.html. Do you have this?
Sorry, the special cable for JTAG programming I do not have.Where is the difference between programming with SP Duo and with special JTAG cable?
