Personally, I use vi/vim, bash and make. I'm considering giving ant a
try instead of make.
I don't usually like IDEs but I've been wondering if either rhide or
netbeans would make a reasonable IDE for avr development. Both are
cross-platform. rhide is more like the old text-mode borland ides where
netbeans is a large java gui ide. I used to like the borland ides...
