It's still somewhat experimental, but probably has less bugs than our
COFF conversion, and AVR Studio doesn't understand stabs (which I
think are quite less "experimental").

Did you compile on Unix? I think GCC records full path names in the
debugging information. As these cannot be found then on your Win
machine, it asks for the name.
