(Great set of commented -W flags, Bob!)
I'm using avr-gcc 4.2.2 with the following flags that
generated the warning above:
avr-gcc -c -mmcu=at90usb1287 -I. -g -Os -fsigned-char \
-funsigned-bitfields -fpack-struct -fshort-enums -Wall \
-Wextra -Wshadow -Wpointer-arith -Wbad-function-cast \
-Wcast-align -Wsign-compare -Waggregate-return \
-Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes \
-Wmissing-declarations -Wunused -Wa,-adhlns=main.lst \
-std=gnu99 -ffunction-sections \
main.c -o main.o
But even without the -W options, it still prints the
__progmem__ warning.
