Hi Louis & Jurgen:
The MacAplAlt.keylayout did not have the correct U+0009 code. (I started from the Dyalog layout)
I have now fixed this and here is the attached .zip file.

Attachment: MacAplAlt.zip
Description: Zip archive

Jürgen would you please replace the one in  /support files/OS-X-Keyboard with this corrected one.

Louis please confirm that the TAB key now works on your Mac by placing this new layout in ~/Library/Keyboard Layouts.

Thanks…

Peter

Hi Louis,

the keyboard mapping is something that happens outside GNU APL.

There exist different methods of how APL characters are created by
the keyboard on different platforms. The file README-3-lkeyboard that
comes with GNU APL explains some of the methods, and some config
files related to keyboard mappings are shipped in the support-files
directory.

Depending on your platform you can most likely take one of those config files
and modify them according to your needs.

Using APL on a Mac, I've noticed that
pressing the TAB key generates this 

it to TAB would allow for system command /

important? Again, very minor.
