In log-edit.el, (log-edit-insert-changelog) calls
(log-edit-delete-common-indentation). I would argue that this call
be deleted.
The indentation is there in the ChangeLog for a good reason--to make
it easy to see the date separators. Similarly, in the output of `cvs
log', the indentation makes the log entries easier to separate. If
you do this, consider setting fill-prefix to "\t" if necessary.
Instead, make (log-edit-delete-common-indentation) an *optional*
hook to log-edit-hook so that the user can use customize to easily
squish the indentation if she desires.
p.s. Just got turned on to pcl-cvs. Very cool. Thanks. Was I
impressed when I saved a buffer and the status on the file in the
*cvs* buffer changed to Modified without having to rescan the
directory. Nice package.
