Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

In add-log.el, two spaces are hardwired into the Acknowledgements
regexp, presumably to match ``From'', ``Suggested by'', etc at the
beginning of a sentence (within add-log.el, use C-s Acknowledgements
to reach the line before the regexp). I think it should use `concat'
and the variable `sentence-end' instead. (Otherwise it forces authors
to use two spaces at the end of a sentence.)
