From: jpff
Subject: emacs 22 seg faults this morning
Date: Sun, 13 May 2007 09:41:06 +0100

This bug report will be sent to the Free Software Foundation,
not to your local site managers!
Please write in English, because the Emacs maintainers do not have
translators to read other languages for them.

Your bug report will be posted to the address@hidden mailing list,
and to the gnu.emacs.bug news group.

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

This message is sent from old version of emacs as emacs22 is failing
to run

It crashes in keyboard.c

(gdb) run
Starting program: /usr/local/bin/emacs
Failed to read a valid object file image from memory.

7150      struct user_signal_info *p;

I tried looking at p but gdb did not admit it existed

Setting a breakpoint was not much help as it was after many calls
