I suppose you first installed setup.exe from
http://www.gnubg.org/downloads/windows/
(Installation Archive 11 MB, 030727)
before downloading the latest build.

If so, delete the file .gnubgautorc
(it's possible you need to change folder settings to see the 
extension)
Afterwards, gnubg will run with the default settings.
If you want to keep the settings you have now, then first copy 
.gnubgautorc to another folder.

Please reply if all is OK? ... or not?
