#include <unistd.h>
#error "'free (NULL)' is not known to work"

succeeds on all of Linux, Solaris, IRIX, HP-UX, OSF/1, AIX, and fails on
Woe32 (mingw32, msvc) because this platform doesn't have <unistd.h>. But
the test also succeeds on SunOS 4 [1] and instead fails on NeXT [2].

So it's still not the right test against SunOS 4...
