May I ask, what our overall goal is here? It seems wasteful for Debian
and GNU to be doing the same work. Can we all cooperate under one
project? Or does Debian need/want to have its own, separate from GNU?
Actually, I'm a bit surprised (happily) at this surge of interest.
Giuseppe have been toiling along in our quiet way, and all of a sudden
there's a bunch of workers, a Debian project, Ubuntu ports, I don't know
what all. Were we just blissfully unaware of all this activity?
pointer by mozilla that it would be a bad idea to use anything with
zilla suffix
A while ago, I saw that on the mozilla web pages also, and asked rms
specifically about the "LessZilla" or any *zilla name. He said he
wasn't at all worried about it.
That said, I don't think he feels strongly about the names. Certainly I
don't.
Thanks,
Karl
