To build a .deb (tested under trisquel 3.0 beta on amd64):
apt-get build-dep firefox
apt-get install python-ply checkinstall
./configure && make && checkinstall
Here is a useful site for testing:
http://tinyvid.tv/show/10mtinxqpzmju
I can upload icecat-3.5_1-1_amd64.deb somewhere if people would find
that useful, but the only tricky part about the build is that the need
for the "python-ply" package didn't become obvious until the build
(which takes a long time) failed in the middle somewhere the first time.
