"defaults to `01;31' which means"
should become:
"defaults to `01;31', which means"

I think 'which' should always be preceded by a comma. Updated patch is
attached (with 3 commas inserted).

Also, I think that "WHEN may be `never', `always', or `auto'" would read
better as "WHEN is either `never', `always', or `auto'", but this change
may be inconsistent with other similar wording and is probably not worth
changing.
