Hi buddies !
I succeeded in making my program using libparted to work on my mini
distribution, so the problem came from the /proc virtual filesystem. I just
forgot to mount it when booting, so as the libparted use a function to get the
linux version, it gets the information from the /proc/sys/kernel/osrelease.
So if you want to use libparted on a distribution made from boot and root howto
don't forget first to add the modprobe and insmod binary (you can link modprobe
to insmod) and then to mount the /proc virtual filesystem.
best regards.
btw does someonr know a text editor very small in size to put on my mini
distrib ??
because :
> ll /bin/vi
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 617564 Dec 20 1999 /bin/vi*
fuck, it's too big
> file /bin/vi
/bin/vi: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1, dynamically linked
(uses shared libs), stripped
Damned, it has been already stripped :-(
