Ah.  Yes!

And Parted.

Chaffee: if you're completely confused:  it seems all versions
of DOS/Windows stop reading directories (looking for directory
entries) after finding the first NULL (all 0s) directory entry.
Linux continues reading until the end of the cluster.  Could you
fix it?  Do you want me to make you a patch?
