Yes, IIRC.
This boot-region stuff looks like it's a red-herring. I don't
know why MacOSX is putting weird numbers in there, but from all
tests, it doesn't actually make a difference. (You can poke
random numbers there, and everything still works)
I asked some Apple people about it, but they didn't answer my email.
