Sorry for making it negative-sounding.  I wrote “etc.” because I had
noticed a few capitalization issues with Guile-related packages; of
course you’re right there are often many inconsistencies.

Right, that makes sense to me.

Next time I synchronize blurbs with Guix I’ll report any issues that I
think may have been overlooked.
