Not if Zile wants to bootstrap with Autoamke <= 1.12 -- they are
deprecation warnings, deprecating stuff (ACLOCAL_AMFLAGS) that was
the only way to obtain some required effects in pre-1.13 Automake.
And my guess is that Zile *wants* to remain bootstrappable with
Automake 1.12.x...

The right thing to do in the longish term would be fixing Automake
to make it behave like all sane software (i.e., explicit command
line options win over those specified statically in configuration
and/or input files); but doing so *might* uncover a can of worm of
backward-compatibility issues, and I'd rather not deal with that
right now.
