 dynamically, and the libs wont load when its built statically.  sigh.

 oh, i attached the stackdump.  it always looks pretty much the same.  its
 fine until one tries to load a dynamic lib, then it immediately dies.  i
 think we may need to use something like libltdl unless a dedicated windows
 person shows up.  im new at the whole windows thing so i dont know if ill
 be able to find a solution in the forseeable future.
