I noticed that chicken-static in my system (RedHat Linux) is not really
It differs from chicken in a way that it does not depend on chicken shared
libraries (like, but it still depends on system libraries.
So, I'm having problems running chicken-static on Debian Linux.
Is there any way to make chicken-static standalone executable?

$ ldd /usr/local/bin/chicken => /usr/local/lib/ (0x40017000) => /usr/local/lib/
(0x40119000) => /usr/local/lib/
(0x40244000) => /lib/ (0x402c6000) => /lib/tls/ (0x402c9000) => /lib/tls/ (0x42000000)
        /lib/ => /lib/ (0x40000000)
$ ldd /usr/local/bin/chicken-static => /lib/ (0x40027000) => /lib/tls/ (0x4002a000) => /lib/tls/ (0x42000000)
        /lib/ => /lib/ (0x40000000)

P.S. I'm using 1.50 (relatively old) version of chicken.
