Hi,
I moved debian-sf to another machine to get more hdd space.
In doing so, I tar'ed /etc/sourceforge, /var/lib/sourceforge,
/var/lib/postgres, /var/lib/ldap and overwrited them
by extracting them to the same location.
(of course I changed the network information including ip address...etc)

It seemed to be working fine at first.
Logging in via web, DNS, accessing CVS...everything just worked fine.

But today, I found that the ftp has some problem.
I couldn't log in to the ftp server..(ftp://address@hidden)
The /var/log/auth.log says "no such user".

Here is part of the log message.
Mar 25 11:24:02 XXXX proftpd[8204]: XXXX.XXXX.XXXX (1X.X51.1.1X0[1X.X51.1.1X0])
- USER ksoonson: no such user found from 1X.X51.1.1X0 [1X.X51.1.1X0] to
1X.X51.X.X5:21

I am not sure if there is any other problem but this is all
I got so far. The proftpd configuration file is exactly the same as before.

Seeing that cvs works fine, I don't think the ldap is broken
if proftpd uses ldap for getting user information.

Can anyone please let me know how to cope with this issue
or best plan for moving existing debian-sf to a new machine?

Thanks very much.
